 Krister Lowe


Krister Lowe, Ph.D. is an Organizational Psychologist whose passion is facilitating collaboration, creativity, and change in organizations. Through a range of interventions such as leadership and team coaching, training, group facilitation, consulting, and mediation, Dr. Lowe helps individuals, leaders, teams and whole systems enhance effectiveness. He has more than 15 years of experience providing learning and development solutions for leading organizations around the world. Some recent clients include the United Nations, Deloitte, JP Morgan, Bank of America, Child Mind Institute, the Rockefeller Foundation, Michigan State University, NPD, the Columbia University Coaching Certification Program, the International Rescue Committee, the World Trade Organization, the New York City Department of Education, Seton Hall University and the Berkeley Carroll School.

Dr. Lowe teaches a course on Group Facilitation skills to master’s degree students at New York University’s Center for Global Affairs. He also facilitates a webinar-based blended learning certification program in the suite of NBI™ Thinking Preferences Assessments in partnership with Columbia University’s Coaching Certification Program.

Krister’s most recent focus centers on contributing to the development of the team coaching field. He is the host of The Team Coaching Zone Podcast—a podcast exploring the art and science of team coaching with leading organizational coaches. The weekly podcast is available on iTunes.He currently provides leadership and team coaching services to several clients and also has introduced leadership and team coaching programs to organizations.

Dr. Lowe holds M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Social-Organizational Psychology from Columbia University as well as a B.A. degree in English Language and Literature from Old Dominion University. He has completed the Coaches Training Institute Co-active coach training program and has also completed the Team Advantage™ team coach training program. He is a certified mediator in New York State, holds a certificate in conflict resolution from the International Center for Cooperation and Conflict Resolution from Columbia University, and is certified in the LeaderNation™ 360 feedback instrument and the NBI™ Thinking Preferences Assessments.
